Today, we will be learning more about that picture I posted on Tuesday. It is a fossil and specifically, it is called a trilobite. There is a dig site in Hamburg,NY called Penn Dixie where you can go dig your own Fossils on the ground. If your parents ever want someplace to take you, I recommend spending a day at Penn Dixie looking for your very own Fossils! Click on the picture to see their website.

Let learn a bit more about Fossils:

As always, mhead on over to Mobymax Science on your iPad and look for the lesson called:

What is a fossil? And what does it tell us?

What can Fossils tell us about extinct plants and animals?

Please work today, tomorrow and this weekend, finishing up your assigned Science lessons for this week, if you haven’t already done them.

Your math assignment today is to complete a Nearpod on perimeter of polygons:

Clever, Nearpod,

Remember to watch for the full moon tonight! The Native Americans called it the Strawberry Moon, not because it’s pink but because you can harvest wild strawberries this time of year. Have you ever gone strawberry picking? Well, that’s a story for another day!

Have a great afternoon! 🍓🍓🍓 MC
