EXPECTATIONS
What are expectations? Expectation is the act of looking forward to something.
We all have expectations. Each and every day, we look forward to something happening depending on the day. Right now, it’s harder to imagine things to look forward to because we are stuck in our homes, staying away from other people.
As your teacher, I challenge you to change your expectations for now. I encourage you to create a list of things to look forward to right now. Maybe it’s watching a cartoon program, playing a video game, playing with a sister or brother, reading, drawing, helping an adult with cooking, anything.
Now, pick one idea as a reward for today. Logon to Mobymax or Core5, set a timer for 20 minutes and get to work! When that timer rings – you get to do whatever you picked! You can feel proud of your accomplishment and do something you enjoy!
If you follow this routine for all your work, you will build great study habits that will help you all the way through middle school and high school!

Happy Spring Thursday! It’s still a bit cold out but I see buds on the trees and I noticed the sun is setting or going down later at night. All nice signs of summer coming after spring!

It has books assigned to it. After reading all the books, please complete the writing task. Let me know about Newsela issues please
