Monday Monday! 5/11/20

Good Morning! I’m hoping spring will arrive soon! Or maybe we will go straight into summer this year? Did you notice It’s been snowing on the blog? I just can’t get it to stop!

Well let’s get to it! I’m sad to report only 3 students completed the formatives and Edcite work last week. I’m setting a goal for 6 students to complete it this week. Do you think you can help me and logon to those two sites and complete your assignments?

Reading

This week we will read “The Journey of Oliver K. Woodman” in our Journeys reader. If you’d like to read it digitally, just go to page 273 on here!

When you have finished reading it, logon to Edcite and complete L.23 Question #1. I’ve broken apart the RATS strategy into sections for you because we are still struggling with using every part of RATS.

Phonics

This week we will review what prefixes and suffixes are and look at some often used suffixes -ous, -ly, -ful, and -er.

To practice what you learned, complete page 117.

In I.B., we ‘re also catching up on our Mobymax Science lessons. Many of you have work to do on Ecosystems still. Read the following information about the sun and then get right on Mobymax Science. Spend at least 20 mins on Mobymax Science, Mobymax math and Core5.
