Today, we are reading Chapter 6 in Pax. Please make sure you are caught up with all 6 chapters since we will discuss it at our class meeting on Wednesday. I think I’ve got technology working so we shouldn’t have any problems. I have a meeting from 10:00-11:00 to discuss your 4th grade classes so the class meeting will be at 11:30.

Last week, we examined what rocks and soil are made of. Yesterday, we began by looking at layers of the earth. Now we are going to examine what we can find buried in the earth and the scientists that study these things called Fossils. Watch this:

Reading:
Chapter 1:
Someone – Pax and peter are main characters
Wanted – Peter wanted to keep pax
But – Peter’s dad told him to send Pax back into the wild
So – Peter was begging his dad to not send pax to the wild
Then – There was no solution. Peter threw a toy at pax and pax was chasing after it and saw that peter was gone
Summary:
Pax, peter, and peters dad was in the car driving into a forest. Peter was very sad because pax had to get sent back into the wild. Peters dad did not want pax. Peter was begging his dad to let him keep pax but his dad did not listen. They stopped at the forest and peter threw a pale green army man at pax and pax was looking for it and found it. It was stuck in the tree and than he noticed that peter and peters dad was gone.
