Manu’s fellings change from mad to sad and to happy on page 317 it says everyone except manu began excitedly about the other new things they had discovered.
Reading:
At the begining of the story, Manu felt sad to leave his friends. He didnt like the island that much. In the text it says, that manu was not sure if he will see his friends again. It also says he missed the old things like coconuts. At the end of the story, manu enjoyed being at the island because he found different cool things and animals. In the text it says, that manu found a seal and enjoyed swimming with it. Manus feelings changed because he got to see new things. This is why manus feelings changed for the island.
