Happly Mother’s Day! I hope our Mothers in RM. 289 receive an extra amount of appreciation today, as they should receive every single day!
Today I’m introducing some new Sunday features!
On Sundays, I will publish the news of the week ! I will also post the Class Dojo total points so students will be ready to shop the Bee Store on Monday.
YOU, and you know who you are…got us in first place by all the time you have been learning! Just think how much bigger your brain has gotten with all this new information! And, at least for this week, we are so far ahead of the other classes!
Keep it up! Remember how Jayanna asked if you could do more than 20 minutes? The directions are at least 20 minutes. At least means the smallest amount you should do is 20. It doesn’t say what the largest is. So if you want to do more, go for it! Just please be sure you are doing your best work!
To practice, you are going to create your own food chain. Your food chain needs to have at least 4 organisms in it. You can use the pictures on the next page or draw your own. Make sure you download the pictures because there is more than what you see here.
You may need to do some research to find what eats what in your food chain. Remember the word diet means what an organism usually eats, so you could google “what is the diet of a ________?” if you aren’t using the examples above.
CLUE: Notice on my examples, it tells you what they eat.
This project will be a 2 day project and doesn’t need to be completed until Monday.
Welcome to Rm 289 Talk time! Today at 11:00 am. ( new time – the Principal called a meeting at 10:00)
Just log into the meeting here:
You may need to turn on your camera and audio (sound). I’m so excited to see all of you!

Great job working Monday all of this with me! I’m so proud of you! I bet your brain is growing as fast as these young eaglets! REMEMBER when they came out of their eggs? Now look at them! Watch LIVE here…
